I had few doubts about online tournaments. I got them cleared by conducting a tournament for my students.

I’m glad that Lichess supports Swiss Tournaments. It is pretty straight-forward but I had some issues with kids joining the tournament.

It is better not to have a password to join the tournament. Youg kids may not know how to type things into an input.

It is better to create a team and invite all your kids to it. You have an option to message all team members and that way they can be informed about the tournament.
